A Safe & Kosher Space

Shabbos House LA is open to all Jews, at no charge, reservations are not required. We operate every Shabbos; Friday night dinner is approximately one hour after candle lighting. On Shabbos day we make Kiddush lunch with hot cholent at 2pm.

Shabbos House LA is hosted by Avi and Miquela Climo (co-directors), who live in the Pico-Roberson neighborhood of West Lost Angeles. This open house is home to all Jews seeking a kosher meal and a connection to Yidishkiet.

Let’s Grow Light Together

Jews intrinsically need to be together. Every Jew should have a kosher Shabbos and Yom Tov meal, while being surrounded by the comfort of their loving family and freinds.

Since 2020, hundreds of Jews have enjoyed (over 5,000) meals and more 24/7. Shabbos House L.A. is the place to enjoy being Jewish. Let’s grow the light together and prepare the world for Moshiach now!

"Imagine if you could open your eyes to see only the good in every person, the positive in every circumstance and the opportunity in every challenge.”
